I have read the reviews. I can see some of the potential problems even with their Swedish demo as has been found by others with some of the other languages. The pictures are not consistently clear. It doesn't appear to teach the verb tenses very well due to inherent flaws in its teaching formats. I will not buy this product because it also appears that the company is not responsive to complaints or other problems.

A supplement, not the end all.

I married a Swede so you can understand why I bought RS. First off, RS is not a substitute for academic study of a language. RS makes no claim to teach you anything other than CONVERSATIONAL (insert language). I use RS in conjunction with a very good Swedish grammar book. It allows me to hone my pronunciation skills through immersion. If you want to understand grammar RS is not for you. If you need an interactive tool to supplement traditional learning, by all means pick RS up, otherwise you're wasting your money.
