Ever thought about Spanish?

Years ago, learning Spanish in Asia was not a day to day kind of thing since it was not a very popular language where I was. I cannot remember how it all started but I do remember the first website that I ran into while trying to find out more about that language in my country. It was a simple site known as Bridge S.A. One of the pages gave me some rather economically appealing reasons why the language would be a worthwhile endeavor. I decided that I would give it a try.

And I did.

My experience tells me that language learning is a multi-faceted thing and is achievable with focus and dedication. I also learned from my Spanish teacher that there are indeed shortcuts and advanced methods in such learning. But nothing can replace the daily practice.

With daily practice and contact with the language - either directly or indirectly - I improved much faster than I thought possible :)
