My husband gave me Rosetta Stone-French on Christmas. I was soooooooo happy and in love just to see the yellow box, because I just love to learn French. I've been practicing (no often as I want to), but I like it so far. Before Rosetta Stone, I bought a program (it has a rocket in the logo). I still go back and for to that program, It has soooo much to learn from it. I just wanted to tell you that I really love it too, because It helps you with grammar, and go right direct to conversations, so you can actually learn sentences no just words/vocabulary, unfortunately, you won't be able to know if you are pronouncing the words right, since they don't have the speech recognition feature. It gives you a lot of conversations with different kind of situations and later you'll know how to use those conversations with different words (to make it work for you). Lots and lots of grammar, rules, exceptions, etc. etc. Check it out! you might like it even better than rosetta stone. I am going to install the French channel, so my ear get use to the pronunciations, speed, etc. in the real French World. It will help you for any program you choose either Rosetta Stone or else.
