Rosetta Stone is Practical for Everyday!

by Andrea
(Charlotte, NC, USA)

Rosetta Stone is easy to navigate, and offers many ways to study languages. I chose to study Spanish, in preparation to a Spanish-speaking country, and tried several different methods (audio cds, workbooks, other online programs). Rosetta Stone worked the best, because they incorporate into the program many forms of learning techniques into one. For visual learners, the program shows a picture of the object, and shows the word. For audio learners, the word is pronounced and used in a sentence. You can choose to hide the word and just hear it, to help hone your listening skills, or you can improve your reading by choosing the non-audio option. My trip was a sucess because I learned not only the words of objects, but sentences and structure.
