Tell Me More 2 Levels

I have taken no French in school and know very few French words. I bought the Tell Me More "2 Levels" thinking that this would help me prepare for a 3 week trip to France this coming September.

After working with it for about 6 hours it seems to be WAY more advanced than I need. Even when I pick the lowest level of beginner it wants me to do word association and even spelling of words.

Some of the navigation isn't exactly intuitive. I think they should do more lab testing like Microsoft does.

It would be better if it had setting to learn common phrases I would use as a traveler and skip some of the more advanced grammar lessons.

I'll stick with it until we leave for our trip in 7 months) and hope that some of it sinks in.

p.s. I find having to insert the CD to run the program dumb. I'd much prefer to have this all online via the web.
